Paper, ink and tags.
One system for the Narafy app and everything around it. Classic is the default; flip the switch in the header to see Glass.
The idea
A note belongs in more than one place, and the tag is how. So the tag is the brand: a small, labelled, colourful chip with weight. It appears on notes, as citations on answers, and as decoration. Everything else stays quiet so the tags carry the colour.
Wordmark
Use the light version on paper and the dark version on ink. Leave clear space equal to the icon tile on every side. Never recolour, stretch or add effects.
Tilt
The tilted coral tag from the icon, the only one that never quite lined up. Tilt can appear on its own anywhere. Its siblings, Cobalt (blue) and Slate (grey), join it for bigger jobs, only ever alongside it, and only Tilt tilts. Each has a personality of its own: see Meet the team. They're drawn in whichever look surrounds them, so flip the switch to see Glass.
Expressions
The eyes and the angle do the acting. Use each for what it means, so Tilt means the same thing everywhere.
Idle
Welcome, at rest.
Curious
Noticing something.
Happy
Done, pleased.
Thinking
Reading, searching.
Waiting
Empty and new.
Focused
Working on it.
Unsure
Hmm, not quite.
Wink
A small joke, a hint.
Surprised
Whoa, thrown, new.
Oops
Small, fixable problems.
Sleepy
Locked, resting.
Gather
A bigger job starts.
Stacked
Every step done.
Done
A finish worth celebrating.
- Tilt never speaks. No speech bubbles: write the words beside it, in Narafy's voice.
- Keep it away from serious moments: losing data, security warnings and AI answers.
- Don't recolour, stretch or add features, and don't mix Classic and Glass in one drawing.
- At least 16px for Tilt and 32px tall for the stack. Smaller than that, use Tilt alone.

write first, tidy later
Annotations only: a short note with an arrow, pointing at something real. Bundled in the app, as on the original walkthrough artwork.
Text · Manrope
Write things down once. Ask them anything later. Every answer shows you the note it came from.
Shape & depth
Two personalities, one brand. Classic: crisp ink borders, small radii, hard offset shadows. Glass: large radii, soft shadows, translucent layers over the Ocean field.

Motion
Quiet and quick. Things settle into place without bouncing, only one thing moves at a time, and nothing loops or blinks for decoration. Honour reduced motion.
