Terms and conditions

Last updated 11 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the Narafy website or the Narafy app, both provided by Narafy Limited ("Narafy", "we", "us"). By using them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

Using Narafy

Narafy is currently free. You may use it for personal or work purposes. Please don't misuse it: don't try to break or get around its security, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use it to break the law.

If we introduce paid plans in future, we'll publish their terms before you're asked to pay anything, and features you're already using for free won't be taken away without notice.

Your content

Your notes belong to you. They're stored on your device, so you're responsible for keeping backups. We recommend exporting or backing up anything important.

AI features and other services

AI features connect to services you choose, such as Anthropic, OpenAI or Google, using your own API key. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and any costs they charge are between you and them. AI output can be wrong, so check it before you rely on it.

Our intellectual property

The Narafy name, logo, website and app are owned by Narafy Limited. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app. They don't transfer ownership of anything to you.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Narafy reliable, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update, change or stop parts of the website or app.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Otherwise, we aren't liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for loss of data you could have protected by keeping backups. If you use Narafy as a consumer, you also have legal rights that these terms don't affect.

Privacy

Our privacy statement explains how we handle personal data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change is significant, we'll give you notice before it takes effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
